Personally we were skeptical at first, but the location was perfect for where had to be. The room was clean and smelled fresh, mattress was clean, sheets were fresh. The AC and lights worked. Enough towels and wash clothes. Fridge and everything worked as I was assured. I did requested more towels and pillows and was provided that in advance. The staff or shall I say the lady at front desk was super sweet, helpful and respectful. Let me tell you $65 for one night for us was a deal. It worked out for us as we had a concert at NRG Stadium, so it was a perfect distance for us to walk.
It appeared clean til I saw the mold

All the staff was super friendly and extra helpful. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable
The Front Desk clerk was friendly and willing to work with room issues. She send people to the room to clean out the problem in the sink on both rooms. When I noticed a mold on the ceiling of the first room, she transferred me to a better room and she walked through the room to check it was without mold and clean enough to meet expectations.

There was an elevator for the 2nd floor. The neighbors were quiet.
The owners/workers are always friendly and helpful. They really make the stay better. The hotel is older, but is perfect for the stay we needed. We stay here when we go to the rodeo cook off. It's walking distance to NRG.
